Description

One of the leading financial services firm in the world is looking to add to their Private Wealth Management business which is responsible for managing client and account information. This team is responsible for building applications which support functions throughout the worldwide organization.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong team and project management experience. Strong analytical, communication, multi-tasking skills are also required. The principle responsibilities for this role involve the following:
Oversee the design and development of new software/features for the client and account information applications including helping to drive the overall direction and strategy for the applications
Support & maintain existing functionality
Manage plans, priorities and team resourcing across multiple applications, projects and user demand
Manage career development of team members
Manage and track project & team budget
Serve as a SME for the applications and functions covered and as a primary interface with users and other technologies groups
This role requires the following technologies and skills:          
Strong team and project management experience
Excellent communication and multi-tasking capabilities
Java application development(Core Java/Swing/Servlets/JSPs)
Working Knowledge of Relational databases( Sybase, UDB or Oracle) and SQL
Experience developing distributed web applications
Experience with IBM Content Manager and/or Kofax a plus
Financial Industry experience a plus
